Nanay Wonders

Ever since i was a kid until high school i always have a short hair either a bob cut or siete (gupit lalaki), i prefer those hairstyle because i wanted it as wash and wear because tamad akong mag ayos ng buhok. Even when i decided to sport a long hair starting college it's either naka ponytail, hair bun so I look neat and then i had it digi-permed once para hindi halatang di ako nagsusuklay :). so after more than 9yrs of trying a long hair i decided to cut it short again. And since it is going to be a drastic change I wanted a professional to do it for me, and getting a professional means cost, mahal ang talent fee. I was thinking I might spend P500 for that modest professional cut. But i get lucky yesterday, while i was on Job Fair in Ali Mall Cubao i googled the salons in the area. Going Straight Salon is the nearest, in front of Ali Mall at the ground floor of SM Cubao just across the street. I checked their prices in FB and lo and behold they have a promo!

Was there ever a time that you ask you are self what am i doing? Is this worth my time? Will this issue that i worry about today will matter 10 or 15 years from now? I am guilty of wasting my time sometimes or most of my time, i tend to worry about things that doesn't happen. I tend to do random things just to let my time passed by which doesn't really make any sense.

Top the goldfish has been his best friend for quite sometime. They played, shared laughter and spend some bad times together. But one day Top died and the little Boy needs to say goodbye. He was brave enough on the first part, but when he flushed the toilet for the funeral, he realized that his best friend is not coming back. Truly heart breaking.

Last weekend during the Pope's visit here in the Philippines. My team decided to push through with the unplanned Team Building in Baguio. I was a bit undecided if I can join because I was not sure if Argus Lolo and Mamita would allow him to travel that far because he is just 6months old and I can't leave Argus because he still breastfeeds with me and we no longer have the stash in the fridge (isang kahig, isang tuka na ang peg namin because he drinks a lot). My weekend is exclusively dedicated for my son, our bonding and playtime. But last 2minutes decisions were made and he was allowed to go with me. So we packed our things and here we go Baguio! Thank you to my team for letting Argus join the Team Building and to his Lolo and Mamita for allowing him to join.

My family and I went to Olongapo to spend our holiday break. That's where I grew up but after college I decided to move to Manila to look for a job. I only visit my relatives maybe 1-2 a year depending on my schedule. So after Christmas and making sure that the bus stationsare no longer crowded we decided to pack our things and travel. Ibang iba talaga ang hangin sa probinsya, though slowly it's a progressing city so expect a bit of traffic and pollution downtown, but the relative's house where we stay is at the top of the mountain at medyo madami pang trees so mas presko pa din ng hangin. No need for aircon at night para sa baby kong mainitin ang katawan. Part of my own tradition every time I go home is I meet some friends and eat in Meat Plus Cafe. But since Dec30 is a town fiesta and friends are busy. My sister and I together with Argus went to eat in Meat Plus Cafe.
